ABOUT KIDDCO –

 Kiddco, Inc. was founded by Thomas B. Kidd and incorporated in 1990. Since 1990 Kiddco has grown from clearing residential building lots and pond construction to total “turn key” site construction in excess of twenty acres. We pride ourselves in providing “turn key” total site development services. These services include but are not limited to survey layout and construction staking, logging / clearing, site grading, project infrastructure improvements, storm water management systems (BMP’s), all aspects of site concrete requirements, asphalt pavement installation, paint / thermoplastic stripping, and all ADA requirements specific to the project.

 

Although the company has grown over the years; the personnel and individual smaller site-specific requirements are still completed on a regular basis. The implementation of storm water management systems and the required maintenance of the same have brought many challenges, none that Kiddco has not brought into compliance under strict inspection of the regulating authorities. Private pond design, construction, and maintenance have always been our pleasure.

 

Kiddco abides by all associated OSHA requirements, has completed and updates MSHA mine safety and training programs, and actively participates in NCDOT work zone safety programs. Kiddco participates in random drug and alcohol testing, and is a requirement prior to employment.

 

Kiddco, Inc. possesses a State of North Carolina “unlimited” general contractors license in heavy highway, water distribution, and sanitary sewer system disciplines.

 

We support ourselves with qualified and experienced management, supervisor teams, office support staff, and experienced field personnel. Kiddco provides a “team” approach to all projects, large or small in scale. This “team” effort also includes the project owner or representative for their knowledge and information in the progress and scheduling of the project.

 

Rex P. Brown, Senior Project Manager; has extensive experience in municipal government operations as Construction Administrator and Inspector (15 years), private engineering firms as Construction Manager (5 years), and with Kiddco as Senior Project Manager (5 years). His experience with government operations, various engineering disciplines’ and companies, personnel diplomacy, and the ability to be contacted on a “one on one” basis has been a valuable asset to the company.

 

Deborah Olive, Corporate Secretary; has an extensive background in the construction industry (20+ years) ranging from project management and accounting to administrative / human resources. Her approach to resolving office issues, employment screening, and accounts payable / receivable is an integral asset to the overall operation of the company.
